Make hot, fresh, delicious popcorn just like at the movie theaters with this easy-to-use carnival-style popcorn cart. The unit features a large 2-ounce stainless-steel kettle with a built-in stirring mechanism for even distribution and perfect hot-oil popping. It can produce up to a gallon of popcorn at a time, making it a fun accessory for fundraisers, birthday parties, and other social gatherings. For foolproof batches, a measuring spoon for oil and a measuring cup for popcorn kernels come included. The machine also provides separate switches for the motor and the interior light, a kernel catcher to keep out unpopped kernels, a 44-inch power cord, and a tempered window for safe viewing. To clean, hand wash with hot, soapy water and dry thoroughly. Reminiscent of the old-fashioned theatre-style popcorn carts, but in a smaller size that can fit on a countertop or table, the 350-watt hot-oil popcorn maker measures 19 by 10-1/2 by 12-1/2 inches and carries a 90-day limited warranty.

This carnival style kettle popcorn cart makes hot, fresh, delicious popcorn just like the movie theaters. It features a large stainless steel kettle with a built in stirring system and pops up to 1 gallon of popcorn per batch. Includes a measuring spoon for oil and measuring cup for popcorn kernels, so every batch pops perfectly. With the old-fashioned tabletop size cart, popcorn has never tasted so good at home.

The biggest issue of this popper is that unpopped kernels tend to fly out of the container, like hot air poppers which blow many of the good kernels out. You should monitor it and shake the handle when popping starts to minimize waste. Quality gourmet popcorn like Orville Redenbacher’s is a larger kernel and will yield bigger, fluffier popcorn per batch.

Naturally, you will have to wipe out the inside before the first use to get any dust and loose styrofoam out. Then rinse and dry the kettle, plug the kettle in, slip on the mount, and screw in the handle counterclockwise.

Instructions say to run the kettle empty 3-5 mintues just to heat up BEFORE you add 2 teaspsoons of oil and popcorn. The instructions get fuzzy at this point. It says, “… add _ cup of popcorn…” Cup of what? I called and found out just one scoop – equal to 1/4 cup. Don’t double it or you risk burning and stuck kernels. It yields 2 quarts which is pretty good. Measuring spoons are provided for oil and popcorn, but no scoop. But the door and opening tray should make popcorn retrieval easy enough.

The sound of the motor spinning is much quieter than hot air poppers which sound like rattling blow dryers. This should let you make more popcorn mid movie with less distraction. This unit is more work for popcorn. However, we live with the trouble because we want theater quality popcorn, right?

As I understand, theater’s use coconut oil. I use peanut oil because of the high burn temperature, it will never smoke and hydrogonate. You can make batch, after batch, of delicious popcorn, but sooner or later, you have to turn it off and clean the kettle. Unplug the unit, wait for it to cool, unscrew the handle, unplug the kettle and remove it. Then a nice soak in hot soapy water. Again, done for the love of popcorn.

There is even an overhead light to help you see the popcorn, but this appears to be an ordinary lamp. It is decorative and in no way keeps the popcorn warm. Just like the wheels which are decorative and do not spin.

The unit is fairly large, and takes up under 9 x 12 inches of counter space. Roughly 18.5″ tall. Easily, twice the size of a hot air popper. Home theater owners won’t mind the space, otherwise, you may need to make room.

It normally comes in the nostalgic classic red, but I have seen green available, and I bought mine in a pleasant black. Certainly, more trouble than normal for popcorn, but the quality is great.

Health conscious people may bally hoo the oil aspect, but that depends on how healthful an oil you use. Healthful fat in your diet, like olive and peanut oils, are better than no fat at all.

In short, if you are a popcorn lover who tires of the over salted bag popcorn, the dry hot air popcorn, or the burned microwave popcorn, this is for you. But, it’s a lot more mess. Just remember to clean it regularly to keep it from smoking. Otherwise, start stocking up on Jiffy Pop.

I bought this popcorn maker about a year ago ( I also bought a cart with mine). I cant tell you how much I love it and everyone who visits me loves it. Well it came really quick and was packaged well and nothing broke or missing. I am not someone who can fix things and could not wait to use and assembled the cart myself instead of waiting for my husband. If I can do it, anyone can. So that is just in case you get the cart which also has a a nice decoration and storage area. Anyway, this thing is easy to clean. I see they sell stuff to clean it but that is not needed at all. Of course, I clean mine after every use so there is no buildup, Just wipe it down with soapy dishwater and then I windex it, done in 5 minutes. Six ounce makes a lot of popcorn. I bought the small square boxes and I fill 7 of those with one popping. So if you want to make smaller batches you can get some 4 oz popcorn packets. However, the popcorn tastes great cold too. I buy megapop corn/oil/salt kit (2836). When I first got it I got extra salt and the butter topping but that was a waste of money and I never used it. That popcorn makes perfect theater popcorn just like the movies by itself, the yellow buttery salty great flavored popcorn, nothing else needed believe me! Also warm your machine for 4 minutes and follow the directions on the popcorn package not your machine package to get the most kernels popped. After it finishes popping stir the popcorn putting in bags or whatever you use as it seems the first 1/3 out is the most buttery and just mix it to even that out. I also bought some popcorn bags on ebay for like 1000 for 20 bucks and I get my popcorn from Home Theater Express. Delivery fast there and popcorn kept cold and when you sign up online they always have discounts. You have to keep the popcorn packets in a cool place cuz you dont want the oil side to melt (messy). I cant tell you how much we love this popper. I highly suggest you to buy it and follow my advice to make perfect home theater popcorn right in your own home.

It is very sturdy, easy to move around, the base is a storage unit and holds a lot. I came with a popcorn scoop and some measuring cups which are not needed as I buy the popcorn packets buy if you buy bulk popcorn supplies will come in handy. There is a little shelf on the side, I put movie theater box candy piled up on there but can use it for anything.

I bought the CCP509 for my office, believe it or not. I wonder how many people have a popcorn machine that stands about five feet tall in their office? I’ve used it a handful of times, and so far, the machine is just outstanding. Even the veryfirst batch came out perfect, which I was very pleasantly surprised about.

Assembly took me about 40 minutes and was fairly easy, even for me, a mechanically declined assembler of just about anything! The machine is beautiful; it actually looks elegant, and has a genuine antique appearance. Three panels of the popper assembly are made of glass, and the door is made of plexiglass.

After pre-heating the kettle for about five minutes, you pour the popcorn goodies in, and in about two minutes, the popcorn comes spilling out of it. It is genuinely exiting, and I imagine that kids would love to see it in action.

I think a big part of it might be finding where to buy supplies for the machine. I haven’t been able to find Country Harvest Pre-Packs in the four ounce size here on Amazon (six ounce size is available), but I went to a website called Home Theatre Express and found two different kinds of pre-packs especially for four-ounce machines like the CCP509 (I hope Amazon carries them soon if they really don’t at present). The popcorn, oil, and salt are all in one package to pour into the kettle, and it works wonderfully. Each batch makes enough for three people easily.

I have visited a website for home theatre afficianados, and they swear by the machine (they also recommend not using more than a four-ounce pre-pack so that the stirrer doesn’t jam, and I’ve had no problems with that at all). One co-worker calls it the best popcorn she’s ever had. I, personally, love making popcorn on the stovetop, but having this machine at work is delightful, and makes my office smell like the snack stand at the movies.

For the price, this is one of the best deals you can get. You may want to look at one of the six-ounce models if you want to pop in grande volumes, but all in all, I am really thrilled with this model, at a very reasonable price. It’s a treat.

This 48-Inch tall vendor-style popcorn cart will be the hit of every party. It pops up to two quarts of hot, fresh kettle cooked popcorn per batch. Providing a vintage look and feel, reminiscent of silent movie houses and carnivals circa-early 1900’s, the old fashioned movie time popcorn cart is designed for home use. It features a large, stainless-steel kettle with a built-in stirring system and kernel catcher to keep out the unpopped kernels. There is a compartment in the base of the unit to store supplies, making it easy to keep the cart well-stocked and organized.

Nostalgia CCP509 Full-Size Popper

Modeled after antique popcorn carts of the early 1900s, this full-sized popcorn cart pops up to 1-1/2 gallons of movie-house-quality popcorn per batch. Its large, stainless-steel kettle features dual-hinged lids, a built-in stirring system, and a kernel catcher to keep out unpopped kernels. The traditional hot-oil popper sits on top of a full-size working cart, which includes two 16-inch solid-core tires with gold-spoked wheels for easy maneuverability. There’s also a compartment in the base of the unit for storage and a supplies compartment to help keep the cart well stocked and looking tidy. Easy to use, easy to clean, and fun to watch, the popper makes for a nice addition to home theater rooms, game rooms, or parties, and is approved for commercial use. The full-size popper measures 16 by 19 by 60 inches and carries a 90-day warranty.

Your very own 5 foot tall theater-style popcorn cart will be the hit of every party. This full-sized cart pops up to 1.5 gallons of movie-house-quality popcorn per batch. Despite its old-fashioned street-corner look, the Movietime Popcorn Cart is designed for use in your home so you can prepare hot fresh popcorn any time. It features a large, stainless-steel kettle with a built in stirring system and kernel catcher to keep out the unpopped kernels. There’s a compartment in the base of the unit for storage and a supplies compartment to help keep the cart well stocked and looking tidy. This popcorn cart offers an easy-to-clean design and is approved for commercial use.

I have been looking for a popcorn machine for quite a while. The lowest price (without a cart) that I could find was over $600. With a cart it can be more than $1100. Then add the shipping $65 – $100. That’s why I was amazed to see this item for $349.99 – WITH FREE SHIPPING. This item was delivered in two Huge boxes. Assembly was simple… about 20 minutes. I did not expect to be a top of the line model and was surprised at the quality. The red top is metal, not plastic. The three side walls are glass, not plastic. I has a kernal catcher, some don’t. I was also concerned about the wattage of this machine. It has about half the wattage of other machines I was looking at. But after cooking a batch of popcorn I found that this unit cooked the popcorn as fast as units I had rented in the past. I am extremely happy with this machine.

Popcorn Machines have been a part of the culture for a very long period going back to around 300 years. Popcorn Carts are one of the first things which comes to mind when you go outside for a little entertainment be it in the local park or in a movie theatre. Munching freshly prepared popcorn from the beautiful popcorn cart is a nice experience. Though popcorn carts have become so ubiquitous that one does not notice the variety and beauty of these carts. These popcorn carts were not always so. Sometimes in the middle of the 19th century somebody had an idea to mount a popcorn machine onto a cart and thus the popcorn carts were born.

Today, popcorn carts are available in a variety of sizes and shapes. You can choose one too go with your house. yes popcorn carts in a house makes a great addition to furniture and needless to say fresh pop corns. There are many companies which make popcorn carts. You can research online to find the one best suited for you lookwise and requirement wise.

The only things to look for in a popcorn cart is the ease of access to the popcorn machine. Since the popcorn machine will sit on top of the cart, the cart if of adjustable height can be worked on by anyone. Also, check how you will be using your popcorn cart. Therefore, you can buy one which is mobile with wheels or the standing one. The one with wheels has its own benefits. The popcorn carts come in the range of around $ 200 to $ 350 usually. Of course you can have your custom graphics on the cart to make it your very own.

Another thing to notice while buying a popcorn cart is the warranty available on the same. Some carts made of poorer material may not last long and that warranty would come in handy at that time. Also see that your popcorn cart has some additional space left which can be used to keep drinks. People love to have those cold drinks to go with the popcorn, be it a house party or in the park. Also , see that there is appropriate space for a dustbin to be carried along with the popcorn cart as it will be necessary if you want to keep the surroundings clean.

These days, popcorn rental services are also available. So for a house party, you can rent one if you want. What do you think about serving popcorn that has irresistible aroma making its round among your guests on a splendid popcorn cart? Popcorn is an attractive addition and creates a festival mood while popping the popcorns and having a chat or while spinning around.
